These posters illustrate how the current prestige paradigm of academia devalues and impedes scicomm in five key realms of academia: scientific communication, teaching scicomm, sharing science beyond the academy, scicomm research, and scicomm practitioners who are not academics. The posters also illustrate alternatives, showing us concrete examples of what we can do to individually and institutionally foster scicomm instead.
